Photography….. art??

I hope I’m wrong, but last night I got the feeling that many people don’t consider photography to be art.

I’ve been debating with this myself, it’s been hard for me to say that I’m an artist.

I strongly believe that Mother Nature is the most perfect and the most amazing form of art in our existence.  That is the reason why I would like to inspire people to take a minute, look around and enjoy the beauty around us.

I believe that art is a form of expression, the way a person shares how they see life.  Which for me, that is exactly what photography is about.

So tell me, what are your thoughts?  Do you consider photography a form of art?
