Looking Back

As I look back at my life, specifically my childhood, I realize how lucky I was to have such a wonderful beginning.

My parents, even though they didn’t have lots of money, they always made sure we had everything we needed and wanted.  We always went on vacation and somehow they managed to have us attend private schools.

I heard heart breaking stories at the Rotary Club convention I attended last weekend about how life is in different countries around the world.  How less fortunate children are living a life that is hard to describe with words.

At the same time, it is touching and wonderful to hear that there are people out there, willing to put others first and change and save people’s lives and even save

Thank you Rotary International for your compassion and dedication and for sharing your big heart with the world.

  1. Praise God we are able to rely on the kindness of others. Giving hearts never go out of style. One person can truly change the course of another’s life, and that person who received the help may go on to help many others. Like a ripple effect.

    • Exactly! That is exactly what our speaker quoted at our Rotary Club meeting today. “Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end.”
